Default Brake and Clutch Pedal Pads that keep falling off

Are there any pedal pads out there that don't keep falling off?

I am so tired of having to keep putting these repos back on the pedals!

I think they all eventually wear out or come off because of the lack of the original design. They need some wire/brace on the bottom of the pad for reinforcement. My 5.0's haven't fallen off, yet! But I know they will.

I was looking into what is currently available and the ones from Daniel Carpenter say they address this issue, so I'm going to order a set and see.

Would there be any negative to installing them with some permatex ultra grey?

I thought about using 3M Super Weather-Strip Adhesive, but I'm holding off with the thought.

Why not glue them? Or molding tape?
Replacements have always fit tight fine in the car and both Rangers.
Pad face wore out, but never came off on their own.

I bought the "5.0" pads and one split and the other just pops off from weak rubber being too thin and not enough rubber lip to cover the entire pedal

I used a small square of two-sided tape.

Mine split in under a week of use. I thought maybe just mine were defective but I see it's obviously the manufacturer's fault.
