Cool Just saw what I want for Christmas.

Unfortunately, the site the articles claim is selling it seems to be down. Every attempt to go there has ended up with me redirected somewhere else, that site wanting me to install spyware and change my search engine before letting me in.

Agreed. I'd be too concerned about scratching things up. It already takes me too long to get anything done. ha!

Very cool for somebody's over-the-top shop though!

    Says is 1950 Chevrolet 3100
Imagine a 50's 60's Ford Big Job or Super Duty one.
Or a cab door grafted onto a garage side door.
A sectioned car rear clip with trunk for storage
May have a scrap car or truck but can repurpose some of it.

The reason they modelled it after that style truck was the horizontal grill being perfect for drawers. It's not a real truck, just built to look like one.

Off the top of my head, I can't come up with any Ford that had grills that would be that perfect for drawers.

As for fears of scratching it up, you can get it unpainted and do a faux patina job on it. Not only would scratches not show up, but the illusion that you cut up some old truck to build it would be complete.
