    Default Fuel line

    I was messing with my 2 fuel lines and bent them bad (where it goes from the metal tube to the plastic tube) down beside the motor where the quick disconnects are. Can I re-heat the plastic line and push the ends back onto the metal connectors?

    I wouldn't try as there is a big chance for the line to crack, split, or come loose and leak. I replaced both of my plastic lines with Rubber Fuel Injection rate fuel lines and clamps. No worries and pretty easy to do. Good Luck!

    ahhhhhhhh I didnt think of that! and I even replaced the 2 plastic lines on the fuel rails with rubber hoses

    If you do it again, look for Dayco Push Loc hose. I have been using it for years and it can take 300 psi. I run it no clamps (looks really clean) and it has held up since 1999. I know other companies make a push lock type hose. To get 300 psi no clamps, you do need to run the right fittings, but I have just used the stock barbed fittings with no issues.

    Very, very hard to install, but worth it.
