That v-6 turbo from a thunderbird looks suspiciously like a 2.3L 4 cylinder turbo.

Ha! You're right. I remember this girl who went to school with us had an '80 6-banger Hatch in that very color. Would be so funny today, pulling up at her house in that '80 Cobra.

V6 . . . . Inline 4 they are basically the same engine. No big deal. Guessing this owner didn't do the swap if they don't have a clue which engine they installed. Love the Recaro interior. Would be a cool ride once finished.

I would have thought they would be able to tell the difference between the two since the ad states "I put a v-6 turbo from a thunderbird". Maybe they thought it was such a cool idea that they wanted to take credit for it themselves.

Overall it looks like a pretty nice car.

You would think someone could at least count spark plug wires or something. At least realize the difference between a V and inline engine. Most likely another flipper that bought the project and has no idea what they have or what it needs. No mention of the interior so that tells me they don't realize how rare it is.

It does look nice and would be awesome once complete. 10 years ago I would be on the way. Now the thought of picking up this wiring nightmare (probably) of someone else's doing......not so much. If it could be running in a day, why won't he take the day to do so?
