Default Look At My 1983 Radio

This is what's left of my factory radio in my 1983 GLX Convertible. It looks to me as though the dash hull has been hacked and the radio looks like it sticks out too far. Also looks like a face plate is al it needs to be complete (plus a missing knob). Radio seems secure and firm in place with no movement.
    Any input appreciated
    Thanks

My guess it’s a slightly newer dealer installed radio. If it’s solid mounting, you should be able to move it back on the shafts for front alignment. Hopefully it’s a mustang radio.

Yes someone cut out the radios mounting frame in the dash. It should have two holes for the knob to mount through. It's been gutted for a after market DIN radio install.

    Thanks, That's what I thought.
