Does anyone have any pictures of the way the sunroof drains are supposed to run? Mine have kinks in them due to how they are run. I'm not sure if the drain hoses are just shot or if they just aren't run the proper way. Thanks!!

This is a picture of a coupe, but the basic routing should be the same even for the hatchback.

My 79 hatch had same issue, the routing is dumb. But the steel tubes also had rust. It's hard plastic tubing, almost like fuel line. I tried using clear tubing, it kinked also. The whole roof was garbage. Hopefully you don't have that much rust.

If you need to replace your drain lines, in my experience a good heat gun or high powered hair dryer can be your friend to help get the smooth bends and curves into the lines without kinks. Don't heat too much, but some additional heat at the bends can help "set" the drain line in the shape you need without a kink or a bend when done properly. Good Luck!

I dont have any major rust issues, I sandblasted and rustoleum painted it years ago, I'll try and include pictures of what I have, if I'm not missing anything I might try and bend some metal tube to make the bend without having a kink in it. The drains have been this was since I've owned the car for the past 19 years, it has set under a carport for ever minus the last 3ish years.
I just wanted to make sure I wasnt missing any pieces to the drains.
