    Default 7.5 Rear Interchange

Is there a list somewhere that shows 7.5 rear ends that will bolt directly into a mustang? I have an 84 GT Turbo having rear end trouble...

A direct bolt in is pretty much any 79-93 Fox rear end. The later model Mustangs with the 4 cyl will still have a 7.5 rear end if you are determined to stick with that. Otherwise, the 8.8 is a relatively simple swap and general improvement over the 7.5. The best 7.5 for your GT Turbo would most likely be an 84-86 SVO unit or the 84/85 GT. The SVO rear ends will require you to swap axles and brakes, but otherwise should be the same as what you currently have. The T-Bird and Cougars of 84-88 should also work for you, but again may require brake and axle swaps to work without modifications. Hope that helps.
