Default Suggestions on sun visor mirror covers (convertible)

Searching didn’t help much so maybe someone out there has experienced this...

Have decent visors and want to see if anyone has an idea of what to do with the mirrors. Mine are missing the covers and since my car is a convertible, I don’t really want them blinding on-coming traffic when I have the top down and visors pushed up — leaving the mirrors exposed and making a potential glare. Plus it just looks junky.

Any options/ideas other than replacing? Vinyl is still in great shape.

    Thanks!

You could cover the glass with some Red vinyl wrap.

Interesting idea. I guess if push comes to shove, that's an easy solution. Thanks!

My covers did the same thing when I went through my 85 vert. I checked with a local upholstery shop and they could make the mirror covers but couldn't guarantee they would match the original material on the visors. So I decided to just leave them be and have not had any issues...I don't see how the mirrors could affect on-coming traffic given their angle.

Thanks for chiming in. I'm probably over-thinking — especially considering how many other things are still on the list!

Just an idea, as I haven't tried it. But what about sourcing some lycra or other stretchy material and making a sort of band that you could slip over the visor?
