Jammin’ at the Junction. Local event. Weather is usually still summer like.
Connected to Gratiot Ave (M-3) east side of suburban Detroit. Cruise destination on weekends for a long time.

Two small and sweet annual local events. Last ones of summer here. A cross town drive for me.
Stock American classics, customs, muscle, 1990 and older no junk, mature owners.
Ford dealer where i bought the Mustang sponsors the Harper event.
Grew up in both cities. These are personal favorites. Pack cooler and chair and hang out in the old 'hoods.

Mile or two inland from Lake St. Clair. 40,000 people show up. Park or cruise. Noise, horns, waving.
