Like the body and interior. I'm not sure about the Cosworth engine.

    Cool car for sure!

Freaking Awesome! I read that metal fabricators handbook front to back a few times. I believe I still have it buried somewhere in the house.

Holy smokes this thing sold for $56K @ Mecum -edit- last year. It will be interesting to see what it goes for on BAT. That might be hard to top during the pandemic but Foxybody's are on a tear lately (and so is BAT because of the pandemic and no in-person auctions) so who knows...will be fun to watch either way and read the comments.

The engine is an iron block, Formula Atlantic or US Fiesta spec block with the bigger bearing version of the 1979 WRC winning RS2000 Works Cosworth BD head. The alloy block used in the World Rallaye Championship, well, it never really lasted as they were all competition engines that made 260 hp and reved to 10 grand. The detuned 1594 cc Iron Kent block base was taken out a little further, but with those carbs, its tractorable and just like a Toyota 4AGE with a little more power and torque. This was what the TRD 3SGE was modelled on. Ford didnt go ahead any further. The M81 and Cosworth Capri here got iron homologation blocks, the made the cars mobile and the M81 a class winner at Daytona.

Us more "mature" members will tell you its ALL about the engine.
