Bought another one
Bought my second fox this summer yesterday. First was a 75k mile one owner 87 LX 5.0 with no engine that was so rotten it bent at the firewall loading it on a trailer. Yesterday I drove almost 200 miles and picked up the one I intend to build. An 86 Notch that is essentially just a tub with an axle and a K-member. Not a single bolt-on body panel. But as I restore cars for a living I look at it as someone did a lot of the work for me already. I've got a few minor rust spots to fix then I can start putting it all back together piece by piece. It's going to be a combination of years as I'm building this one for me and not a "restoration" really. But it's going to be the keeper. I've wanted a notch for a long time and this was my 4th attempt this summer. It is staying a 4 eye though.
