Default Full Build: 1981 Fox Body Cobra Mustang

I dunno, I love how this car turned out,
but why decimate a 81 Cobra to do this?
They could of done it with any fox body.
    What is everyone's thoughts.
Sorry 80/81 Cobras are my favorite Fox body.

Yes, I grimaced while I watched this.
    It was such a waste.

What's worse, it looked like a survivor Cobra. The previous owner probably would be so upset, I bet he wouldn't have sold him the car. As much as I disagree with using a clean '81 Cobra, it did look and sound awesome on the track

But yeah, he should've started with a no-option car, and leave the clean Cobra examples for enthusiasts like us

Agreed. They overall ruined a good car big time to overpowered car with ricer look.
Why not wrap it and slit holes. Where is the graffiti? What no blahhhh pop pop exhaust?
Thats the way it is now? Take the proven and rewrite to a lower standard with mistakes?
All they do is play assembly worker and bolt on free parts, rip out good ones to scrap. Sick is cool? No.
Made the car look like the 600 hp junk it got turned into for what, a hour of track time before it breaks down?
So many aftermarket parts. A hundred adjustments. No regular shop will work or sort out a car like that.
With all the fancy tools they have, they set 100 rivets with a cheap hand tool?
Then to keep the splitter from moving, they bolt braces to a flex rubber bumper.
Ruin a good engine turned bezel. Why not use aftermarket face for gauges?
Carpet in a race car? Worried about passengers breathing exhaust? Come on give me a break.
Who is gonna insure that thing?

I wish I could rebuild/upgrade my front and rear suspension/brakes and pull the engine from my car in 11 minutes. I don't understand the fake patina thing when what they had looked pretty clean. Lower it, new wheels/tires, brakes, suspension, engine, and trans, but why mess with a decent paint job?

One of these days I will get to finish mine. After reading all the comments, I didn't watch the video.
