I'm surprised at how much people are asking for these right now. I mean, it's good for those of us who already own them, I guess. I'm at the point where I'm ready to insure mine. I was planning on an agreed value of $12k, but I guess I need to increase that. Mine is restored and modified (331 stroker with aluminum heads, cam, intake, etc), t5, 8.8 31-spline, upgraded fuel system, 3g alternator, electric fan, aluminum radiator and a bunch of other stuff. I always figured I was building it the way I wanted without any hope of getting my investment back if I were to sell it. Prices have just gone way up lately.

Call me a pessimist but I've not seen a 15,000 mile car with the driver seat torn up like that.
