Default 1FABP27M2GF231777 86 GT conv that looks like a 1951

Not mine. Posted for sale on Eugene, OR Craigslist. I have seen Thunderbirds done like this before but never a Mustang.

    Thoughts?

1951 Ford Convertible Replica. This car is a 1986 Mustang GT convertible with a 1951 Ford Replica body kit. 5.0 liter V-8, Auto trans, PW, PDL, P-Top. Remote entry. Good clean cloth interior. The body kit and paint has been done for a while so the paint and body work has some stress cracks, but for the money car looks pretty good. Odometer shows 58,127 so I am assuming that the car is correct at 158,127 miles. Runs out great and don't smoke. This is a good cheap cruiser! # A-2138 $5,950

Moderators move if necessary, I wasn't sure where to post it.

I don't want it but I have seen worse things done with a 1986 Mustang convertible also.

If a Mustang has a rusted out or dented up body and one desires the old car look why not?
Save from scrap. How about a Falcon, Maverick or Pinto kit? 65-68 Mustang? Shift ball is neat looking.
Instead of swapping internals, this is swapping externals. Wiring, interior, running gear stays.

I think I'd rather take that drive train and swap out my 85's 2.3L w/ auto trans.
