    Default 1982 Lincoln Continental

I wanted to drop in a quick introduction about my latest purchase. Over the years this is my 3rd four eye and my 5th fox body. I had an 82 Thunderbird, 85 LTD LX, '90 Mustang LX and '91 Mustang GT. I have been thinking about a Lincoln Continental project for probably over 15 years. I came across this super clean 82 and couldn't pass it up. Only downside is it might be too clean for me to mess with. Everything works like new. The car even has the original Variable Venturi carburetor. It works for now. The car has 32,000 original miles and runs like a brand new 1982 Lincoln Continental. The color is Pastel French Vanilla.

Very clean! Man that thing had some gadgets for an '82.
Cool find. I vote to leave as is.

Don't my kinda car, but that is cool!

Way too clean and original to mess with IMHO and I don't leave ANYTHING stock or original!

Looks like a great base for an autocross machine: http://vb.foureyedpride.com/showthre...925-Autocross!

That is awesome! I say do what you want to it, but leave the interior and body alone.

That thing is amazingly clean! Nice find.

I'd drop a 460 into it, otherwise leave it looking exactly as it does, all the way down to the white-walls.

I agree on the gadgets. Pretty cool for an 82.

I have that same affliction. I have trouble leaving thing stock. I figure if I do any mods they will be hidden. At some point I have to get rid of that electronically controlled carburetor. It is going to leave me stranded one day.

That is more inline with what I was thinking. Hidden mods and keep it looking like it does.

Put on some nice rims and tires, lower it, mild performance mods and drive it until the tread falls off the tires!
