    Default 2.8L stock 2bl Carb

Which model did they come with from the factory? I think mine is original but I dont see markings that match any numbers online? The tune up guides and screw locations do match up either. Its a 1979 2.8L Cologne model with 2bl carb, it has a stamped metal plate that Motorcraft 74F but I dont see the model anywhere.

I'm trying to get it back into tune but need info on setting up the choke plate, fast idle and idle speed adjustment. The Haynes manual I have doesn't seem to show the 2.8L model and which screws adjust what.

For idle, timing, choke setting, spark plug, specs, see emissions sticker on engine or engine bay.
Have a chart with those specs, but need calibration number off that sticker if readable.

From Ford 1979 Car Performance Spec book:
    Motorcraft Model 2150 2V carb -9510
    2.8L 171 CI Engine

Looking at the pictures online of the 2150 2V it doesn't seem to match like mine. Where should the idle adjusting screws be for each side? Are they on the face or is under the bowl where I wouldn't be able to see them?

If possible, post a pic of the carb.
Where the idle mix screws are depends on what carb it is.
Most are under the bowl. May have limiter caps. Holley and Weber are on the sides.

View is kind of blocked by the air cleaner but the placement of the throttle and choke don't match the images I see of the 2150.

Normal carb was only the 2150 Motorcraft for 1979 Pinto 2.8's, Mustang/Capri Foxes, and the overhang of the 1978 Captive import Capri II's.

The engine was in and out of US sale with many variations. It was out of production from 1980 to 1982, then came back in the 1983 Bronco II and Ranger and then Aerostar. I thought from Pat Ganahl's V6 Pefromance book, https://www.amazon.com/V-6-Performan.../dp/093147213X

The variable venturi 2700 series 2-bbl Motorcraft was used as well for one year.
