    Default T-5 Neutral switch

when I was building my 86 capri or when I found it it was missing the drive train, I found a replacement T-5 but it does not have the neutral switch on top but my harness has the connector that would go to that switch. my question is that I have the switch on the clutch pedal that allows the car to start but when I do the KOER test it wont do the test unless I hold in the clutch the hole time. can I use a jumper wire down on the connector by the trans? and keep it there?

I don't think you want to keep it there because that will confuse the computer. If it was me, I'd wire in a toggle switch and just switch it on when I want to run the test.

You can also just swap the top cover with one that has a switch.
