First off I'd like to say, I'm Tire Technician, formally trained as a Machinist and by no means a Mechanic, but I can swing a wrench.
The problem I'm having with my '89 Mustang 2.3 is, each time I change from first to second (5-speed manual), and second to third, it seems like the engine "noses over" and doesn't free ventilate when I depress the clutch pedal and lift the accelerator, as a result, stumbles and lurches going into the next gear. I'm guessing it's an ignition timing issue, but I'm unsure. Maybe a vacuum issue, I don't know, any ideas???? Thanks in advance (no pun intended)
