Default Damn What should I do?

So I finish my Capri, and I still have go faster parts and a complete new cobra brake set to do. So on F.B. I post a picture that my Capri is done. my friend P.M.'s and asks me "what am I going to do now"? I say "I dont know" so he tells me that he sold his 7up stang and wants to sell his 66 falcon coupe (thats how we met at the car shows with my 69 aussie coupe) so he asks me how much would I sell it for and I throw out $8,000 he say OK! DAMN I havant even driven it in the canyons yet lol. I know if I sell ill regret big time, from what I did with capri it kinda grew on me..... but $8,000? he wants to come over to test drive it. So how can I sell my baby?Name: thumbnail (26).jpg

I would Keep it , 8k is good amount of $$$ but due to fact that these types of cars rarely seen on the road everyday and the sweat and tears you put into building it. Just my 2 cents

Have to agree thats not a 8k car unless you have to sell and that's a buddy price with option to buy back type of thing

    Beautiful car nice job

I had a similar situation years ago. Completely redid a 1982 Mustang with 5.0/T5 conversion, paint, interior, etc to use as a display car for my Restoration Shop when I had it. Customer stopped by to look at his 1972 El Camino that we were restoring. Asked about the Mustang and told him that I was going to Daily Drive it and show it for a year or so, then sell it for the next project. Asked me what I would take for it right then (Still hadn't even driven it around the block yet and the interior wasn't finished), told him it wasn't for sale right then. He badgered me for next hour about the Mustang. I finally threw out what I thought was a crazy price $7K (1999) and he said SOLD! "I'll bring you cash tomorrow" Brought the cash the next day and I tried to talk my way out of it, but he would budge. So I did the deal and he said call me when its finished. I still regret selling that car to this day. Seemed like a huge amount of $$ at the time, but I sold too cheap. Personally I wouldn't do it. Drive the Capri and enjoy it and when/if you get tired or bored then consider selling.

I never understand people that just finish a car and then sell it right away. Enjoy it! I WISH i was in the position to enjoy mine! That's ALL I want out of life right now! Nope. Perpetually torn apart.

One of the reasons why I will not price certain cars of mine. If I gave someone a price and they agreed to it, I would feel compelled to sell it to them. I simply say it is not for sale no matter how much I may get badgered.
