    Default Dim dash lights...fixed

I've been having an issue with my dash lights. Half of them barely worked. They're so dim that I literally needed a flashlight to read them at night. I checked the voltage going to the dash. It was good. Replaced bulbs with new ones and again with led's. After a bunch of fiddling with them, I finally figured it out.

The contacts on the housings were flattened out... not making good contact. All I did was bend them out slightly so the contact was better.

Much better! I figured I would post this up for others with the same problem. Maybe it's been addressed before, but I read through a bunch of threads and no mention of this particular issue.

    Good job!
Congrats on figuring it out and getting it fixed.

When I replaced some bulbs in my dash, all I could think of was "this isn't really a good design" for replaceable bulbs. :-)
But, considering that Ford didn't have to allow that ability at all (and could've saved money), I/we can only mumble/semi-complain. :-)
