Default No longer for sale-1983 GL 5.0L, 5 speed, Teal, T-Top hatch

Putting it in storage. Not a good year to try to sell a classic car. I'll try again in the spring.

In Olmsted Falls, Ohio, west side of Cleveland. Odometer reads 124k, engine has less than 2k. Asking $6300 (read - $6k, firm). Details below. PM me for phone number.

I bought this back in college, many years ago, from a high school friend. It went from daily driver to garage furniture to project car. Time to let it go though, as I am on to another project. I'd really like this car to have a home where someone likes the 4-eye Mustangs, so no better place than here to post it.

GL Hatchbacks are VERY uncommon. Hadn't seen one in about 30 years.

It's the unusual combination of GT/5.0L driveline with an "upscale?" interior. It had the TRX wheels and tires when I got it. Those hockey pucks are long gone.

My first car was an 83 Mustang GL Hatch with 4spd w/overdrive 2.3. It had the sport interior (netted halo headrest) which I thought was odd.

    I really like that color!
I push my fingers into my eyes......

Update - 2023 - Looking to buy 81 Mustang, 82/85/86 Mustang GT, and 79 - 86 Capri (No Sunroof). Not looking for all original/show cars or convertibles - I will be modifying. Would be nice if both were - Black Interior, PW, PL, AC, No - or very little rust. Motor/Trans/Axle not important. Options negotiable with price.

Thank you. Between the teal paint, stainless cladding and Centerline wheels, it turns heads. Particularly when I downshift with the Corsa mufflers. :-)

Updated asking price. I'd like to move this into a good new home while there are some nice driving days left.
