Sugar, salt, sand to provide grit with soap like Tide or Dawn.

LA's Totally Awesome from the dollar store. Works great on clothes, under hood painted areas and hands and arms. I used purple power for years but it dries out my skin too much. You should get the heavy stuff off first with paper towel, throw away rags, etc. Really, spend a buck and try it, you will be sold.
Added a new travel bottle of this to the hand cleaner box at the sink used coming from outside.
Kitchen was the only place Dawn was used here until now.
Never recall ever using Dawn soap elsewhere at home. Nor know what NZ springs exactly smell like.
