Currently in the process of installing a Holley Super Sniper kit on my 85 GT. I'm trying to figure out the best way to do the fuel system, in the future the car will have some sort of forced induction on it. So I was looking at this sumped tank http://www.glennsperformance.com/pro...products_id=67. My problem is that where the return line is located on this tank it would render my original sending unit useless. My question is, can I take this sending unit https://lmr.com/item/LRS-9275A/Musta...ing-Unit-83-86, and stick it into the center hole and use this for my factory gauge. It appears that the ohm readings are exactly the same as my stock unit. I'm going to be running a Holley 12-920 in line pump and dont want to use the factory carb in tank pick ups for the feed/return lines because I don't want to ever starve it for fuel under hard accel/corner/etc and also I know these pumps are more meant for pushing, not pulling.
