It does have a couple hairline cracks that will need to be addressed on the drivers side eventually. Typical V8...

I will definitely need to try something. The other 2 wheels are in very nice condition with minor use. The clear is very nice. I am debating on going stock BSW or RWL tires.

Marti Report came today. I'm a bit surprised at the low number.

Well I had to step up in tire size from 205/70R14 to 215/7014 because nothing was available in Canada. The original weights were still on the two wheels with the original tires on them. The weights had the "FORD" script on the out side and on the inside it had the Ford oval and script. I've never seen weights like this. I'll update with some photos once the tires are mounted and balanced.

Good choice. I bought a set of Goodyears, about 20 years ago, same size. Pinstripe whitewalls even (could flip-in if not needed). Handled real nice, soft ride, but decent handling. These were purchased for use on my '69 Mustang, but on a Fox, even better

Yes, I actually had the same Ford-scripted weights with mine. Evidently they were to 'counter' the weight of the Theft Lugs. (I have a set of NOS theft lugs for the 16 hole rims, too!!)

Took off the front wheels to clean before getting the new tires put on. Noticed a green "X" on both wheels.

Took the steel wheels off the rear. The drums have never been removed and still had the drum lock washer still installed. The passenger wheel seal has a good leak. I cleaned it up as good as possible. I will tackle that later in the revival process. The driver's side drum was rusted on really tight. Took over 30 min soaking periodically with WD-40. Sorry no pics of the gooey mess on the passenger side.

Had some time when waiting for my tires to get installed so I finished up priming and painting the black trim on the rear window and drivers side. Turned out great using the same Duplicolor primer and Duplicolor black trim and bumper paint.

Here is a sneak peak on the BFG 215/70R14. I could have went a bit wider on the back and the front was perfect with a finger space between the strut.

RWL's look so good with 16-hole alloys. Tint would look so perfect on that! (The quality type, not that 'purple bubbly' stuff). Would help preserve the interior, and contrast beautifully against the White paint

Thanks. I'm not installing the aftermarket louvers again so I may tint in the future.

I never got the glove compartment items from the original owner but I got a box full of all the books for 1983. The box still has the postage from 1983 on it.
