Default Brake Proportioning Valve Gone Bad

Just need some help here, my brake proportioning valve went bad in my 86, my car still has the stock system, drums in the rear and pads in the front. I keep trying to look around for a replacement online, but it is hard to turn up any results. Any suggestions on where I can find it, or if there are any interchangeable parts from other Ford cars bin that I can swap in, or alternative solutions? Thank you

Alternative solution is adjustable proportioning valve.

Leave the bad one in its place and basically gut it out and replace the union at the firewall with adjustable aftermarket

Maximum motorsports sells what you need for aftermarket alternative solution

Hey I had this happen too - I was lucky in finding a direct used replacement on eBay, though came from Europe and I had to wait. In the meantime I bought one that looked exactly the same that is more readily available labeled as "1960-1970 Ford Mustang Fairlane Comet proportioning valve for disc drum", this was also on eBay but I saw it in other online stores as well. It came in brand new. It mounts identically and all the port locations are the same, only issue was some of the ports needed adapters to fit the existing lines. I just used this rebuild my existing unit and seems to work fine. I just bought a couple of these off Amazon and they made the connections work fine. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1 [h=Brake Line Adaptors for Inverted Flare 7/16"-24(Female End) to 3/8"-24(Male End) Pack of 2]1[/h]
