    Default Foxbody Man Cave Stereo

I bought a used dash pad to replace mine and it turned out the entire dash assembly was available, originally from a Pace Car.
It was to good to be thrown out so I decided to re-purpose it.

Built a wooden frame for it and give it a fresh coat of paint.
Added new LED lights and a stereo (already had a DIN cut out). Powered it up using a 12v power supply.
I used the light switch as an on/off button.
Wired in some 6x9 speakers and now have my garage stereo.

All I need now is an antenna.

Very cool! Great job. Looks like it came from a ford dealer display.

Thought about doing something just like that for my dad. He has an extra '57 Ford dash with all the instruments. How hard was it to convert from 110 to 12v?

Did not have to convert to 120v, I am using a 120v AC to 12v DC power supply. Everything in the dash is 12v.

    Thanks
These were the LED I used, nice and bright and dimmable, just have to get the polarity right when installing.
I think I am going to get a set for my car as well.
