Trying to find an electrical schematic for one. Does anyone know if you don't hook up the 3rd plug, does it act like a "blue" duraspark?

My 79 is a Turbo-4 to V8 swap. I have been using the original yellow strain box since the swap. The 3rd connector is not hooked up and the car runs great. At least in my car, I believe it connected to a relay panel that would retard the ignition under boost, but it was also in cars built for high altitude areas to do the same thing.
