    Default Parking brake cable

I noticed on LMR that there are different e-brake cables for the 79-82 and the 83-92.

I am moving the entire rear end (7.5) from my 83 GT and putting in my 82 Capri RS. I am taking the whole thing... not even opening the brakes.

Will I have any issues with the cables?

Thanks in advance for the help.

The main differences if I remember correctly is the early cars used a clip to hold the brake cables in the holes near the rear control arms where the later models have the spring metal that snaps in place. The later cables also have more of the spring wrap on them to protect the lines from abrasion than the early model cables. Otherwise they are interchangeable with no issues that I have come across over the years. Good Luck!
