Default So what have you been.up to?

It's been a while since I've been on here.

I have had my 85 for 11 years. It needs work and lately I lost a lot of the desire to work on it. I had picked up a bunch of parts to start working on it. ( 1979-1982 pace car/Cobra stuff) then last summer I decided to play with my Crown Vic.

With the pandemic I was bored with money in my pockets. So I picked up someone's abandoned project. It came with an 83 parts car (rotted and hit hard in the front at some point. ) And another pile of parts.

Now my driveway sits with 2 foxes and a panther.

The Crown Vic and the Project Mustang look Nice! That should be some fun depending on what your plans are. Good Luck!

Oh the vic is special. Theft recovery, smashed 2x plus 5 days after I painted it a tree fell on it. It's been battered but has a few choice mods and with 4:10s it's fun for a barge.

Now for the black foxbody, it has something wrong with it.

I too have not been active on FEP for several years......life!! Now that my 84 GT Turbo is in MY garage AND I have some time, I am getting back to it. Just a little bit every day, but any progress is good.

Recently drained some of the 31 year old gas from the tank...interesting color. I took the engine out 29 years ago so I could really detail the engine bay. Hasn't been in since. But it will live again!

So far the black car hates me. Duraspark, cap, rotor, coil, yet no consistent spark.

Going through all the extra stuff he gave and 50% is garbage but I feel bad tossing it because it is fox specific stuff. Someone could use it but no one would pay for grey door cards with speaker holes cut in them.

I'm working on bringing the interior of my 80 hatch back up to snuff. Last year I dailied it 100km a day for 2 months for the first time in years which really got me motivated to get back on making it 100%

Also getting back to browsing and posting on here more regularly to keep the motivation strong

Staying home the whole pandemic thing. Been burning the tires off the Amazon and brown truck. Been lucky and thankful to have retained my job so fall into the time on my hands with a little money to spend category.

Rebuilt the entire front end on my 52 Ford that has a GM heart transplant and 60 something Nova sub frame. Fun to buy parts for (not). I can never be honest about what I am buying the part for. I stopped trying locally and order everything on line now.

Wrapped that project up and decided I needed a yard vacuum but was too cheap to buy one so I built one from an old chipper vac from craigslist and a trailer that I already had. Ended up all in about 200 which was mostly the adaptors for the mower deck, chipper vac intake and some hoses to connect it.
