Greetings from North Dakota
I have a confession to make. This is not only my first Mustang, but my first Ford ... ever. I have been wrenching and racing bowties since the late 70's, but have always remembered the rise of the Mustang GT on the streets in the 1980's. Two weeks ago on a whim, I purchased a V6 auto 84 LX convertible with 43K at a local auction. The car is an 80's time capsule including the original window sticker and awful chrome wheels. As a lifelong Chevy guy, my quest to learn about this car led to my choice to join the site. I thank you in advance for your patience and appreciate the wealth of knowledge that is available here! For the summer, I plan to enjoy some top down trips, but winter will see upgrades... specifically a bit more "Go" and "Whoa".
