Default Does anyone have any Briggs and Stratton Sprint 4.0 HP Engine parts?

HI I know this is a strange question, but does anyone have any Briggs and Stratton Sprint 4.0 HP Engine parts?

I have an old lawnmower I like that has a Briggs and Stratton Sprint 4.0 HP Engine. Where you pull start the motor the cover that covers the spool has lost a bolt. I could buy a new mower, but I like this one.

    Thanks for any help

Have you tried searching for a replacement part? There are a surprising amount of places online selling quite a few mower parts.

You are going to have to find the engine model number. Google locate briggs model number and you will be directed to a site by Briggs that shows model location numbers. Usually stamped on the fan shroud or the valve cover. A couple of good sites for parts are Jack’s Small Engines or EReplacement Parts. Once you have the model number, go to either one, enter the model number and they will give you a list that will take you to parts diagrams. Easy to locate parts after that.

If all you need is a shroud bolt, maybe use a thread pitch gauge and find the bolt at the hardware store?
