Default V BELT WIDTH is DIFFERENT

Repaired my A/C the other day. While it was running, the 2 belts squealed and stuck.
Spraying water on them made this stop so I came to the conclusion that after 15 years new belts were in order.
Went to Autozone and they only had 1 belt. They called another store and they only had 1 belt three other stores had none.
So I bought both of those and took them home. Same part number, but one was made in China, the other India.
Just looking at them you can see that the widths are different .05 or 1/20 of an inch different.
Will this matter since they run side by side? They are the same length, bad quality control.

I have dual v-belts on my car.
The only way i know of to get two belts close to the same is to match the codes on the belts.
The other numbers besides the size. Each brand is different.
Used to be called a matched set. Still are in non auto apps.
Belts that are slit at the factory from the same batch. They are lot coded.
They used to come packaged that way. Now have to match store stock.
Dayco, Gates are pretty well made. Goodyear ok.
Test both belts for match. Install with the numbers lined up side by side or draw a chalk line across them.
They wont stay lined up for long, but can determine if close enough.
Matching is for seeking the same or close tension on both belts.

    Thanks for that info.
I went to another Autozone luckily I have 5 within 3 miles of my house.
They also only had one but it was the right width .41".
At your suggestion I checked the code with the other right size belt and they were both made on the same day.
Now I have 2 quality made China belts to put on tomorrow.
Then I will line up the numbers. My other belts were from 2 different manufactures.
