    Default Alternator wiring question.

So I think the green w/red wire coming from the 3 wire plug (with only 2 wires), is run to the charge indicator light? Can I just run to a key on power? Or do I need the actual indicator light in line with it? Not sure this is the right forum, please move if not. Thanks.Name: 2020-05-25 18.25.21.jpg

Doesn’t look like any Foxbody have ever seen. Do We take turns guessing?

It may not be correct but I run the red/green wire to keyed power on my Vic. The charge light has been deleted in my cluster due to custom modifications. It has been this way for a number of years will no issues to speak of.
