    Cool Need another part connecting to the air cleaner....

    Is there a source for a replacement BiMetal vacuum switch? The one I have on the 83 leaks bad on both ports.
    According the the service book, only the actuator motor side should vent (leak) & the source side should be sealed.

    Mine is a leaker both directions & when I test it cold it sorta works, but leaks then as well

    I can find AC / GM units, but nothing that looks like these. thoughts?

    I believe that is the carburetor air temperature sensor control. Mounted in the base of the air cleaner, correct? For 83-85 5.0's that is part number D7FZ 9E607-B (Motorcraft CX-122). Like that plastic elbow piece, hard to find.
    If they take my stapler, then I'll set the building on fire...
