Default Value of a 4 eyed mustang front clip?

Not sure if this the right place for this thread. Please move if not.

I came across a parts mustang. Not sure of year, but a 4 eye. I'm wondering what a fair price is, for the whole front clip, minus the hood (I have a hood already)? It's dirty and the paint is shot, but it's complete and pretty straight. I don't want to get hosed on price, but don't want to make an offensive offer either. Thanks again!

I would say different years make a difference in price. 84 1/4 gt is rarer than some.

Value goes down drastically if installed on a wagon.

There is a 85-86 front cover only for sale on here for $150. Last year a local guy had an entire front clip (w/hood) from a 83 listed for $350.

Area of the country will make a huge difference in value. Rust prone areas will increase value of good quality parts. Other areas where the Foxes are still more prevalent may decrease the price.

Generally I would say most covers with headlamp panel are $150-$350 depending on year, model, and condition. Fenders are $50-$125 depending on condition. Hoods are going to be $100-$250 most cases again depending on year and condition. So for a complete front clip, I would say between $250 and $350 in most cases for the average Mustang.
