    Default Window Tint Qeuestion

    Hello,
Not sure if this is in the wrong forum, since this is regarding passenger side door glass, I guess 1/2 of the glass is on the interior side.

I am trying to retrofit a passenger side mirror to my 79 Zephyr, and need specific shaped door glass to achieve this.
I was able to find the correct glass, it it lists 2 options- clear tint, and green tint.
I’m 99% sure that I need clear tint, but what is green tint?
Not sure if I have ever seen green tinted glass?

    Thanks for any help

Look on your existing glass and find the Carlite logo. If it says sun-x you have the green tint glass. If there is no sun-x then you just have clear glass.

Thank you so much for the helpful replies!
My car is not a factory A/C car.
Tigger, where can I find the Carlite logo?
    thanks!

The glass looks pretty clear to me.
Funny how non AC gets clear while AC gets tinted, you would think that non AC would need the tint more than AC car lol
Maybe they figured non AC would just have the windows rolled down?

Just hold up a piece of white paper and look at it with and with out glass. I will be very evident if it’s tinted.

The Carlite logo is usually in one of the corners of the side glass. It looks kinda brown.
