What powers & controls the Dump vacuum solenoid I have circled above. It has 12vdc at all times while the engine is running while garage testing the system. Just curious if anybody knows what part of the electronic controls drop the 12v to allow air to be pumped up or downstream. maybe RPMs over time? trying to figure out how I can garage test to see if its working correctly If I unplug the solenoid to drop power, then vacuum is applied & air is pumped up or down based on manifold vacuum. That part seems to be working perfect.
In the service manual, it says to unplug the idle switch & wait 120 seconds, but there is no idle switch, just the A/C cutout switch (and my car doesn't have A/C)
