I just found a nice donor here. A Saleen explorer with the Saleen 5.0 for $1000. It has some body damage but drivetrain is good. What can be used except the Engine? Is the rear end good? Brakes?

Rear end is leaf sprung , only the engine will be useful
clowns to the left of me , Jokers to the right
Though you could sell the rear end to some Jeeper for a couple of hundred to recoup some of your costs!
Even at $1000 its worth it for the engine. Being in Germany the parts are probably worth even more.

The Saleen specific parts that are good would be worth it as well to resell if the vehicle is not worth repairing.
