    Default GT40 Heads

Hello everyone I just picked up a pair of GT40 heads for 150 bucks. What do I need to do to put them on my Capri like valve springs, push rods, etc.

Trick flow has a valve spring kit for stock ford heads I used when I went with a gt40p headed long block from an explorer, if you use a larger cam than stick you’ll probably need something like that.

Also, I have seen lots of people used Alex's parts spring packages for GT40/GT40P heads . I haven't used them myself though. https://www.alexsparts.com/categorie...GT40P%2C-GT40/

I would take them to a machine shop first for inspection

I used Alex's springs, retainers, and pushrods. Everything worked just fine. Good Luck!
