    Default Badge locations

    My Capri is coming back (soon) I hope from paint and I have all new badges. Can some tell me the measured locations for
    1. the 5.0 locations on the fenders
    2. the Capri & Mercury badges on the hatch
    3. the C A P R I spacing on the hood

    I don't have pictures of the hood CAPRI lettering since I had the original hood, but had to replace it due to damage. I just kept it for reference, but that is still down in TX.

    oh on the 86's the capri goes on the left and mercury goes on the right

    so the letters are 2" apart? that looks kinda close to each other?

    The hood letters are definitely further apart than 2" The letters don't fill the entire area above the grill opening but they do span most of it.

    Best option is to probably just center the P on the grille opening and then space out the letters until they look "Right". Good Luck!

    Oh the measurements for the hatch are from the early ones, I need the measurements for the bubble back

    Sorry I forgot that yours still has the bubble back. I will have to look at my 86 BB hatch and see if the emblems are still there or not to get measurements.

    The measurement on the bottom of the image I posted are for the 84, which is a bubble butt.

    The easy way is to apply masking tape then put the badges on based upon the masking
