Metal Scuff Plates

Anyone running metal scuff plates in their Foxbody? I found ones at LMR at the link included but they look so plain and Im trying to get an idea of what they look like installed or what else is out there. Seems like that would be such an improvement over the wavy plastic stock ones.

What you said^^^^^^ I'd pass. although I somewhat like the idea overall. I imagine some metal fab shop would bend two simple pieces of tin like that for you for $20. Surprised nobody has something dumb like the new Mustangs with "lighted pony" door sills or "Mustang GT" lit up etc.
