I believe those are Epsilon wheels. Might be Riken, but I believe Epsilon.

I should have gone with my gut. Pretty sure they are Hayashi Racing wheels.

    First wheel.

You may be correct. If they are Hayashi, very sought after wheel for early Saleens.

Hayashi Racing are crazy rare in 15”. 16” I’ve never seen anywhere but in a catalog personally

lots of early 85 Saleens had Hayashi 15” with stock Goodyear Eagle 225/60/15 tires before Saleen looked for bigger rims and to Riken as their supplier

Late in 85 the 16” option emerged.

but there aren’t that many with Rikens — 16” Riken are also quite rare. That’s where General Tires hit the scene

those almost look like the wheels ASC McLarens had

It was not long before Saleen was rolling out cars with 16” Enkei and General Tires.

ARE started making wheels that look just like the Enkei 92’s also

For me I have a set of 16” AREs Trey did one hell of a job redoing and I have a set of Rikens that I want to have done someday.

if you found some in 16” do a happy dance

Hayashi’s...close but not quite. Look at the outer lip of the wheel, this has a “stepped” outer lip and the Hayashi’s have a flat outer lip as they are a reversed wheel to get this look. Are the one piece cast or two? Size? They kinda look like SSR, OZ or a knock off. Would need more detail pics

The wheels in question may be a knock off/copy of Hayashi, but the stepped lip alone doesn't guarantee the wheels are not Hayashi.

Correct as those are a three piece and much easier to find, as for them being what Saleen used they are definitely not

Not close, they lack detail in the lacing, the closet I can find is an SSR MK3 wheel or a knock off of them...everybody made this style of wheel
In the 80’s and early 90’s. It would be nice to see better and more detail pics and specs on these, not knocking them as they are a good looking wheel and less common on a Fox than the AR’s or Enkis

I'll try to get a closer picture. There are no distinguishing manufacture markings on the back of the rim. I ask because one of them has some damage to the inside lip and I'm trying to determine if I should get it fixed or look for a replacement. I haven't verified if the wheel is bent or not - or if the damage is just cosmetic.

Here is a close up of 16x8 inch Epsilons mounted new on my Popular Hot Rodding project car in 1983.
Note lots of intricate webbing all around the mounting area.
PHR published the set of 4 as costing $2000--- in 1983!
