    Default 83 Wire Harness Connectors

Hey I just purchased a 83 3.8l Vert and the wiring under the hood is absolute trash. I need to know where a good place is to purchase new connectors and supplies to restore my wiring. I know my way around the diagrams a bit and can make the harness pieces I need if I had the supplies. Not looking to redo the whole care just the areas that are currently trash. thanks. Some stuff is available. Cfi should be the same as the 5.0. Post pictures of what you need.

On some cars, the module has been relocated to the front of the radiator core support and is surrounded by an aluminum heat sink.

The ECA, ISC, and Systems Monitored (inputs and sensors) and Systems controlled ("outputs"/"feedbacks") have block connectors with a C xxx part number.

The EVTM has everyone given a code, but they do vary in terms of year to year colr, priority wiring, and some white box sensor changes.

Mikes got some of that for the mildly revised 1986 on his rebuilt.

I swear the front of the car raised about 1/2" after removing all this $hit...

Other Fox chassis Code 6's are just the same, so plenty of sources.

Yesterday we started with swapping axles and got the 7.5" axle out. Next we'll be dropping the 8.8 out of the Zephyr and swapping axle shafts.

All the EECIV CFi 5.0's missed out on the ISC (what other call the IAC DC idle stepper motor).
