NO need to replace the trim around the windows. Just sand and refinish. Not a big deal, can be done in any garage or even the driveway on a calm day with some masking. As noted you will want new window door channel runs and the outer dew wipe seals. The new dew wipes only come with the metal trim know IIRC, but personally the new trim is crap. It doesn't fit and not the same quality as OEM. I remove the wipes from the originals, refinish them and then swap the new wipes onto the old trim. Takes a little practice to pop the wipes off, but they can be removed without damaging the trim pretty easily. Make sure to refinish the mirrors while you have them off too otherwise they will look terrible next to the new refinished trim. Same might be said for the windshield trim, cowl panel, rear window trim, and body moldings. NOW you see why all of my projects become long term restorations. Good luck!
