Does anyone have a picture of a cross member for an 86 turbo coupe t-bird? I know the mustang cross member is supposed to fit but either i'm missing something or it is different.

Does anyone have a picture of a cross member for an 86 turbo coupe t-bird? I know the mustang cross member is supposed to fit but either i'm missing something or it is different.
It should be very much the same. However, there are a few small tackwelds around the tube part that it bolts to. Different transmissions were slightly different lengths for the mount. If you grind down the tack welds, you should be able to slide it and inch or two either direction and be able to use it.

Is there any chance you could measure the center to center distance on the mounting bolts? the cross member that i had was too narrow.
