Lower seat reuhphostering finish

I looked at the how to but my seat does not have the bar across to finish the piping. Should have looked at it when taking apart.

How do finish off the seat. Should I drill a hole to attach the hog ring to?

It's been a while but I believe mine was left that way. I seem to recall adjusting the plastic securing strips to get it to look right. If you secure it with a hog ring it will probably tear when you sit in it and it stretches.

I agree, mine looked similar, but once in the car you don't notice it at all.

If the plastic channel is coming off, I suspect the foam was not also replaced...as I'm seeing in the op picture...
