Default Paint the bbk cold air

The chrome cold air i would like to match my gt-40- tubular intake. The question is can i paint over the chrome or do i need to bead blast to roughen up chrome so paint primer will stick. Thanks!

I would recommend blasting the chrome if you want to paint it. It will hold up better and last longer. Powder coating is another great option depending on what color you want to go with. It can often be done very economically when doing small parts in standard colors. Good Luck!

If you can’t blast it, scuff the chrome and then use Rustoleum Bonding Primer. That stuff is legit
