      Default New Guy Building a Fairmont

      Hi all, I am new to this site and I am currently building a ‘78 Fairmont. Car will be getting a 393W with a Monster Transmission AOD with full manual valve body, 8.8 rear end with 3.73 gears, Full Holly Sniper EFI setup, bunch of frame stiffening parts and hopefully all new interior down the road. Car is currently a roller and is a very straight car.

      Do some searches on the Monster transmission. I have heard bad things from anyone who was not on a TV show.
