Hello guys and gals. Let me start off by saying thank god I found this forum. Im new to the fox but not to Mustangs. I already made my first Help post giving a small introduction but I will formally do it where I am suppose to. So, a little about me. Im a Georgia boy but live in Michigan now. Did 12 years in the Army with multiple deployments and pretty much have seen the world. Found my niche 2 years ago helping Veterans buy and sell homes as a Realtor. Until a few weeks ago I was medically retired by the VA. So I guess you can say Im retired but I feel like Im 20 all over again. However, it allows me to spend everyday in my garage with the car.
My first Mustang was an 01 GT. I did every bolt on mod available for a New Edge.

I ended getting bored with it and upgraded to the 04 Termi "The Instigator"

Invested a lot of money and time, just for it to sit 10 months out of the year, so unfortunately she was sold too.

When I was 5yrs old my father's Lieutenant had an 82 GT Ttop. Since then, Ive always wanted one exactly like his. 2 months ago I was able to finally find, and purchase one. Its a beautiful car and damn near mint. I was able to drive it home literally minutes before it started snowing. Now I have to endure the torture for the rest of winter lol. I have my eyes on a coupe for a future coyote swap to have fun in. So I want to keep this one as original as possible. There are things that the original owner had done to it. Which are:

Edelbrock Performer intake, Holley 4bbl, T5 swapped, 8.8 rear end with 373 gears, Shorty headers to Flowmasters and tips.

I have put subframe connectors, bbq springs, shocks, Wheels which are 17x9/17x10, pulleys, wires, distributor, put the dual snorkel back on it with a KN, ordered the elite Marti report. Theres other things that aren't coming to mind right now as well such as fixing small things or replacing them.
Now keep in mind, this is my first 5.0 Ive ever owned. And first carburated motor as well so Im trying to learn a lot but I will be asking a lot of questions too lol.
So, here's my 1982 GT, 58k original mile, 2 owner, original TRX wheels and 390's, childhood dream car (one of them)

Where did you find the 82 GT? It looks familiar.
