Thanks. I've only seen this one here. Normal foxes are also getting rarer here too. A plain normal 2.3 non turbo costs $4500-6000

I bought 4 new tires for my 86 5.0 LX notch. I roll the original 10 holes and finding decent 15in tires was a chore. about 6 years ago I bought Uniroyal tigerpaws cos they were reasonable and I like a blackwall anyway and didn't want to pay for white-letters I'd never see. I never cared for them. very hard riding; even though the LX is no caddy to begin with. so this year I decided to get new tires and was back searching. I went with a "default" tire: BF Goodrich radial t/a's....black side out. I like them and they do ride better than the UTPs... we shall see...

Military aircraft flyovers yesterday and today to honor front line workers at hospitals.
Drove to see the Blue Angels Tuesday.
Today, flyovers continued with local aircraft from Selfridge ANG base, 107th Wing.
This one was couple miles from home.
A KC-135T Stratotanker, boom down, with three 107th Fighter Squadron A-10C Thunderbolt IIs.

Video same as what i experienced except refueling boom was down. Area gridlocked for almost an hour after flyover.

Secured a generic puke bottle and a off/on switch imma use on the radiator fan since that harness has yeeted itself into oblivion (keep getting reminders lik that that it’s sat for 8 years).

Sold my 1989 notch 2.3 with 40000 miles. The guy threw a bunch of cash at me and I could not say no.

I haven't driven my car yet this year beyond a 3/4 mile jaunt to settle the suspension and setup the MM panhard bar. It didn't even get up to operating temperature. Next weekend I've committed to drive my car into town and go on a birthday cruise on Friday night, then participate in a photo shoot at dusk. A local photographer wants to try some new lenses, and I could use some new photos. I am going to mount up 3 or 4 of my action cameras today to shoot a lot of footage on the way in that I can cut up for the YouTube channel later on.

Just an FYI for those that haven't tried Evapo Rust. I've been soaking all the little dash hull brackets and frame work in it. It works very well. Once I get them all done. they're getting a coat of clear flat to preserve the bare metal.

Pleasant weather day yesterday 109 miles around town sight seeing.
Driving our cars brings happiness. Seen a lot of other even older classics out for a spin.
Seen two other Fox Mustangs. Thumbs up.

Watched installation of new 120' freeway bridge beams onto their piers, cruised the old neighborhoods.
Bought fuel at my same (old) neighborhood corner gas station. Goes back to the 60's.
Same Sunoco yellow tile, full length floor drain urinal (rare nowadays) in restroom. Classic.
Outside door access, no key on wood paddle needed anymore! Always been clean for a gas station.

Many people out walking, biking, doing yard work, a few house parties.
Ave fuel mileage, since last fill up, is 23 mpg city/hwy, 30-70 degree weather.
    1979 2.3T was rated 18 mpg combined.
25% larger Holley carb is working out great.
First time this year with windows down.

Portable wash station would be handy working outside at home.

It did really well. The Z-7 failed in February by .01 on the CO. Then the virus hit and I had no money for a retest.
I already paid the DMV on that one. Without any car shows to go to, it is not a priority right now.
I like driving the 4-door more and if it failed I would have put it in non-op.
    Here are the 4-door results.

I received my power steering pump and hoses today. I now have everything except for the cooler to replace my power steering rack, hoses and pump. I am thinking ill upgrade from the stock power steering cooler tube.

I also now have everything I needed to install my lowering springs and MM caster camber plates. Ill probably do everything at the same time because either will require a wheel alignment.

    Glad to hear you passed!
we used to have that test here in MA and it was hard for my older cars to pass.
Luckily they got rid of all the rollers and that whole deal. Now OBD-I and earlier is safety only, emissions exempt.
They do a visual so they are looking for cats, EGR etc
